Our History

The Foundation Julien Estimé Jean-Mary, hereinafter FOJEM, was established in October 2006 by Rev. Fr. Reginald Jean-Mary, a native of Jean-Rabel, Haiti, and an ordained Roman Catholic priest of the Archdiocese of Miami, Florida (USA)...

Who We Are

FOJEM is a not-for-profit organization; it carries the name of both the deceased brother and father of Rev. Reginald Jean-Mary. It is being sustained by friends and close collaborators of Fr. Jean-Mary. The office of the Foundation is in Jean-Rabel, Haiti (NW).

Our Mission

FOJEM emerges with the philosophy that “Education is the house of being as well as one of the best ways to fully achieve God’s given potentials in one’s life.” It is also determined that the tomorrow of the Haitian society lies on the bedrock of well-trained and conscientious individuals.

Our Commitment

FOJEM is working to improve the educational and socio-economic conditions in the Northwest, Haiti. Consequently, FOJEM has adopted the mission of enhancing educational opportunities for the formation of conscientious leaders in Haiti. Our goal consists in providing to numerous Haitian families “A WAY OUT” rather than a “HAND OUT.”
